101 in 1001

I was inspired to try my own "101 in 1001" after seeing it on both Lauren's ( not your everyday cinderella ) and Brooke's ( Roots and Wings ) blogs. I've actually been working on it FOREVER but still haven't come up with all 101 things. I even copied some from both of their lists! (Hope you don't mind, ladies...) ; ) But Brooke suggested that I make "finish the list" one of the 101 (she's so clever...), so without further ado:

From the Day Zero (101 in 1001's Official Name) Website:

101 in 1001

The Challenge:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?

Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks.

  1. That's awesome! I have started two of these before but I never keep up. So I've kind of stopped doing mine.

When I did my list, I would put my goals into categories to help with organising my list. I hope yours goes well!

And thanks for your swap suggestions! x

  2. Wow... what a neat idea!
I guess you can work on what you have and add the rest of the items as you come up with them.

    Maybe I'll try this...

  3. I'm so behind on my blog reading... just saw this, but you're doing well!! Just a few more to go! Now... does this mean I can mark off "Inspire someone to make their own list" off of mine? ;)
